"The Aztec legend of Popoca", by Envy-akari
This piece is full of wonderfully portrayed emotion. The lineart is clean and expressive, the colors are wisely chosen and the references to Aztec culture in the clothing and the background speak about the dedication given to all the process. There is attention to the detail in every step of the execution: the traces of lava under the two lovers, for example, is a beautiful and strong reference to their final destiny, and all the little references contained in the background are the most powerful attributes in this drawing, combined with beautiful lineart and color. For all this, we think that this piece deserves the 1st Prize of the Traditional Category.

"Forest Mother", by LucyNickBakura
The most appealing trait of this awesome piece are its vibrant, intense, nicely-chosen colors. The forest in the background, Mira's beautiful hair, her white dress... everything looks beautiful, paeceful, and still full of life. And then, the contrast: Kaylan, all dark colors and with a terrified expression all over his pale face, drowning, breaking that feeling of serenity and showing to us the other side of Nature: cruelty and revenge. For its overall coloring, composition and originality, we think that this piece deserves the 2nd Prize of the Traditional Category.

"Six Seeds", by SaraCuervo
A beautiful take on the myth of Hades and Persephone, the outstanding trait of this piece is the wonderful coloring, along with the delicate features of its main characters. Kaylan and Mira are all about contrast; in "Six Seeds", contrast is subtle but present; light and dark, sadness and satisfaction. Mira's hair is gorgeus, the background seems to embrace the characters, welcoming Persephone to a dark, cold Hades. For its wonderful execution and appeal, we believe this piece deserves the 1st Prize of the Digital Category.

"Apollo and Daphne", by :MissMikopete:
An awesome rendition of the myth of Apollo and Daphne that suits Kliff and Alhena so, so well. The scene captures a moment in time perfectly; Kliff is still running, Alhena is transforming, time stops. The lines are very expressive; they are not "striking a pose", they are moving. The way Alhena's limbs blend into the branches, the light surrounding Apollo and making him recognizable as a Sun God, his reaching hand... these little details make the picture even easier to enjoy. For all these reasons, we think this piece deserves the 2nd prize of the Digital Category.

"Kali and the Thugs", by Divera
A very original choice of myth (and of couple!), "Kali and the Thugs" is beautifully drawn and colored. The Goddess Kali, wearing her attributes, looks gorgeous and deadly. There is great attention to detail in this picture, you only have to look at the skull or the knife that Kali is holding. The contrast between reds and blues is also worth mentioning, the colors are wonderfully managed to focus our attention in the goddess, but they don't let us forget about her servant, the Thug assassin. For all this, we think this piece deserves the 3rd prize of the Digital Category.
